Farewell to a miracle worker

You’ve probably saw the advertisement I placed to recruit a replacement for my miracle worker, Eswen Chaffey, who leaves me today to work with an orphanage in Cambodia prior to completing her Honours degree in psychology. In the couple of years she’s been with me, she’s done a fantastic job on all of the tasks I’ve asked her to address and has dragged me kicking and screaming into the social media age. I know many of you will have had her assistance and appreciated what she has done for you just as I am in her debt for helping me. Eswen takes with us our best wishes for her continuing career and my confidence that she will do a great job at whatever she tackles.

    Eswen, Your contribution to taking us into the total online experience was invaluable. Between us, Winston the ideas and words man, myself the graphic designer and you holding my hand and getting on with the technical stuff us right-brain artists can’t cope with, we’ve created this f-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c website that works really well in every way.     It’s great to see you publicly acknowledge the invaluable work Eswen has done for you.

    It’s so important to know how to look after your team…no matter how many of them you have. Praise and recognition goes a long way in keeping good people.

      Thanks Lorraine and I totally agree… a pat on the back publicly works better than a kick lower down privately! Eswen did a great job for us!
