No matter what your beliefs this is a special time of the year. Whether its celebrating the religious meaning or just enjoying a great break over our fabulous Aussie summer, it’s a time when you can relax and enjoy good times with friends and family.
That’s why I’d like you to take time out to tell the people you love and like how much they mean to you. Now!
I just celebrated a major milestone birthday and at the celebrations my son proposed a toast to me and, in so doing, made me blush with all the wonderful things he said on behalf of all my friends and family about me.
In my response I said that often people only get those nice things said about them in the eulogies delivered at their funerals so that is was fantastic to be with everyone and hear the words whilst I was still on this mortal coil with all those I loved.
It was I said, “A living Eulogy.”
And I reckon it was the best present I could get.
So why don’t you give those living eulogies to those you love and like over this period of celebration? Celebrate their lives whilst they are here to celebrate it with you.
Enjoy your Christmas period… whatever it means to you… and have a f-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c new year!
