Sally is a great accountant and asked me how best to promote herself and her practice.
Well, think about it.
There are stack of people around who would reckon that Sally is a gem and would love to use her. So, who are they? Generally the partners of small business operators, tradesmen and the like, who have the job of “just doing the accounts” but don’t really have the will or the knowledge to do it. They hate doing it but don’t want to ask their accountant for help.
They’d love to meet Sally and, as most of them are female, would be even more rapt when they found out she was female… coz women care!
So a flyer that expresses the sentiments along these lines (and nicely designed by a pro graphic artist) and dropped in a 1,000 or so letterboxes round her area would probably work gangbusters.
Ah yes and I know that I’ve used the word “Accountant” there coz those are the exact words I used in an advert for Ruth, an accountant, who used it said it did the job. Sure it needs some of the wording changed to suit what she does (but not much) and her photo needs to be in but otherwise…
In fact here’s the advert along the same lines with beautiful art work done by my designer, Liga Byron, of Vizkidz.
