A neighbour a couple of houses down from me spends months prior to Christmas every year getting his beautiful light display up and going for the few weeks prior to the big day. Here’s just a little bit of how it looks.
What it costs him in time and money heaven knows but I’m sure his return on investment is the sheer joy and squeals of delight from the hundreds of kids who arrive, wrapped in dressing gowns, to gaze wide eyed at the wondrous display.
It’s a reminder that giving is often hugely better than receiving!
