Now here’s a project for one of the younger members of the team that will get lots of people involved and do great things for your business… run a pet competition! Cutest, ugliest, friendliest, strangest pet or whatever. More than 60% of Australian families have pets and most reckon that theirs is the best for whatever reason … and they love showing them off.

That innovative airline, Virgin, recently ran one to find the Velocity Pet Ambassador and they got thousands of entries… and thousands of likes. Or it could have been thousands of email addresses or thousands of snail mail addresses. And they could have put those details in their database, followed them up, built a relationship and then sold them something.

Why not try something like this for whatever business or organisation of which you are part?
