I’ve talked previously about what a great program the Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) is and how much value many young people have gained from it.
In the words of Rotary “It’s a fun-filled, energetic, 7-day residential conference for young people with leadership potential or demonstrated leadership qualities between the ages of 18 – 30 years of age” but that doesn’t do it justice.
Quite frankly, being part of it could be the turning point in your life and lead you to achieve more than you could ever imagine.
And I know because I’ve been privileged to speak at the conferences for at least the last ten years or so. As a result I’ve heard from many participants who tell me in so many ways how their lives have been changed by being part of it.
Instead of dreaming about a life they’d love to live they are living the life they dreamed about… in their career, their relationships, in their community. In fact, in their life.
