This isn’t a request for advice that will change the world but it is something that has vexed me.

Let me explain.

Recently I read an article about passwords that are more difficult for people to hack and the author suggested that you could take the first letter from each word in a phrase or lyric and throw in some capitalisation, numbers and symbols to spice things up.

For example, the author claimed, “The opening lines to Advance Australia Fair might become AaLuR*FwAyAf+1788, which is long and complicated, but easy enough to remember if you sing along in your head”.

Now for the life of me I’ve sung our Anthem through several times but for the life of me I can’t see where they get that coding.

Perhaps you can tell me exactly how they put those letters and symbols together to represent the first lines of Advance Australia Fair…
