Why worry?

I write this as the media this morning is breathlessly reporting that the polls are about to close in the Presidential election in the States. Everybody seems to be talking about who should be the president. And “everybody” seems to mean not only the press, the politicians and the pundits but friends, colleagues and the proverbial “man in the street”.

Yet, quite frankly, it really doesn’t matter.

I believe in the mantra “Why worry about things you can’t change”.

In this case we can’t do anything about who becomes President and the impact it has on us will not be determined by us. So whatever happens, relax!

Worry only about the things you can change and particularly those things you can change for the better.

You can do that under either President!
