On occasions I’ve asked you whether you’d like to choose between being a hen or a pig or merely settle for being a dog like my beloved Sharnie.

The other day I was at a mate’s place and looking at them as they happily scratched away during the middle of the day when there was no prospect of a free food handout from humans got me thinking.
Maybe I should be a chook!
And why so is that?

Well, it’s kinda simple really. You see, no matter how many times they had scratched over a piece of ground previously they always had another go at the same patch the next day. Now, those chooks could have said “No, I won’t scratch there today coz I did so yesterday so there won’t be anything there.”
But guess what? Invariably, their re-scratching of that same patch produced results!
And that’s the lesson there for you and me… it’s worth having another go at old ideas, or old customers, or old just about anything. New is not necessarily better!
It pays to be a chook!
