Isn’t it great when somebody does or says something that really makes you feel great? Here, someone else may help to make Clint Eastwood’s day:
Although it’s not hard for someone to make your day, it doesn’t happen very often. So when it happens, as it did for me recently, it really is great. It warms you up inside, puts a smile on your face and sets you up for a great day.
So, how did someone make my day recently?

Well, I took my car in for service and, when Julie returned my car, she opened the door for me, handed me the keys, and said, “You really have a beautiful car”.
Now that might not mean much to you but it really made me feel good about my choice of car, its current condition and the world in general. Not a bad result eh?
I love doing the same… giving compliments to people and making their day.
So are you making sure you make the day of someone in your life every day? It’s not difficult to do but you know, when you make someone else’s day, you make your day too. Try it… and make your day!
Mate, you make me feel so Lucky, because in all the excitement of reading your post, “I kind of lost track myself”. My mate Harry had some serious wisdom, ““It’s a question of methods. Everybody wants results, but nobody wants to do what they have to do to get them done.” (Sudden Impact). Yep, I’m an Eastwood/Marsh fan(tastic)!
Thanks Darren, love your mate Harry’s wisdom. Thank you!
My goal used to be to compliment three people a day, now it’s 5.
It has become a game to see how quickly I can slip one in.
I get a 99% positive reaction and it makes me feel great too : )

Yes Deb, what a great goal and isn’t it good coz it almost invariably works!
I used to aim for three compliments a day and upped it to 5. I love the response I get and it’s a game to see how quickly I can slip a sincere compliment in. I guess it’s about being in the present and dealing with a bunch of human beings. If someone doesn’t smile I’ll try again….
A fantastic approach, I love it!
