I know that many of you are geniuses on the subject already so you won’t need to read this. However, for those many people who ask me about the basics, here’s a brief outline of how to start.
Start with AdWords and Facebook adverts because they only cost you if people click on them.
To make this happen you need to create a good advert that gets the attention of the target market.
So, that means you need to decide specifically who (gender, age range) and where (say 20 km radius of where?) the target market are as well as the most significant, painful problem you can solve for them.
Download Winston’s fantastic “How to write a great advertisement” for just $40 here
Once you have that, you can write some good words and illustrate them with a picture (like a good billboard advert) and put them together as an advert. You’ll need to study the specifications of AdWords and Facebook to make sure you get it right.
You might need to create a squeeze (landing) page totally relevant to the problem you have said you can solve which will make the link between their problem and your solution abundantly clear. (Don’t just send them to your web site to search for what you are offering coz you’ll just lose them.)
That should make it easy for them to take the next step which is, hopefully, to buy!
Once you’ve got that all together, you can decide how much you want to spend each day! It’s important you test and measure your results so start off with maybe $5 on each, and also decide on a maximum monthly/weekly spend.
Soon, you’ll be reaping the rewards!
