Chevy runs deep was the slogan chosen back in 2010 by the Chevrolet marketing team to promote the iconic brand.

Here’s their reason according to Business Insider:

“Jeff Goodby, co-chairman of new Chevy ad firm Goodby, Silverstein & Partners says the motto solves the problem of Chevy looking too far backward or being too specific: “It’s such a deep, wide, connected brand in America,” Goodby said of Chevrolet. “All things being equal, Americans want to buy Chevys. And we have to put them in that position.”
