Geez it really annoys me when I go to our local cinema (the one that offers discounts for the aged and infirm like me) that after the commercials, which I love, and the trailers, they show a puff piece for Doremi.

This obviously gives the cinema owners and the Doremi executives their jollies. But the real problem is that it does nothing for me coz it tells me nothing about the WIIFM of Doremi for me! Nothing, nil, nada, zero!
By the way, Wikipedia tells me that Doremi gives me a much better movie experience with better sound and sharper images.

And useless chest beating about products and services is rife. So many companies give lots of information about themselves and their products and services without ever spelling out what it will do for me or you. They have either forgotten, or never knew, that the prime rule of business is to sell the benefits and it’s a rule you should never forget!
P.S. Incidentally, the aged and infirm don’t eat much popcorn (probably plays hell with their dentures) which is great coz it means we don’t have those noisy, open mouthed popcorn eaters that really annoy me so much!
