I dunno about you but I seem to get lots of messages left on my message bank from people who are either speed speakers (as opposed to speed readers) or closed mouth mutterers (as opposed to clear enunciators). And they are thrifty too, coz rarely do they repeat their number on the off chance that it may prevent a problem.
I often have to replay a message several times before I can determine the return number they leave or understand what they are talking about. A recent hearing test revealed that my hearing is 20/20.
I guess that maybe it’s because they say their phone number so often they just spit it out at speed with no concern for the listener or they are not talking into the phone in the correct manner.
So, always speak slowly and clearly, and repeat your phone number too, to ensure that your message gets action. Please!
