I was named Winston after the British Statesman, Winston Churchill, because I was born on his birthday, 30 November.
Whether consciously or not on my part, the thoughts of Churchill have been a significant influence on me. I’ve read much of his writings, listened to many of his speeches and studied his life.
That’s why I was very interested to read Winston Churchill’s Top 6 Fundamentals for a Successful Life in Henrik Edberg’s blog. They are…
1. Focus on what you are doing right now.
2. Be concerned about action.
3. Be an optimist.
4. Be persistent. Don’t give up.
5. Don’t lose the enthusiasm.
6. Remember, most troubles never happen.
Maybe worth thinking about. Thoughts like those have kinda worked for me.
