What’s that old saying? An optimist sees the glass as half full of opportunity whereas a pessimist sees it as half empty and bereft of opportunity! (Engineers, on the other hand, see it as the wrong size glass.)
That’s why, in these post-Covid times, when the big airlines are saying how tough their business is, I was delighted to read the optimistic thoughts of the Chairman of the upstart little airline setting out to challenge them on some of their most busy and profitable routes.
“There’s never been a better time,” he starts and proceeds to outline why, giving a heap of positive reasons.
And, if that’s the way he sees it, that’s the way it’ll be. Remember, perception is reality.
And, by the way, that’s how I see it too. Lots of your competitors are despairing or have given up and, whilst a heck of a lot of the low hanging fruit might have been taken, there’s plenty of beautiful, untouched fruit higher up the tree!
So, right now, how does your glass look?
