I didn’t know of Simon Sinek, who apparently is best known for popularizing the concept of WHY in his first TED Talk in 2009. That rose to become the third most watched talk on TED.com, with over 40 million views, subtitled in 47 languages. I guess I will really have to watch it.

But I was alerted to Mr Sinek’s work by a short video This Addiction is Ruining the Upcoming Generation, sent to me by one of my colleagues. It’s riveting watching and will motivate me to keep an eye on what my grandkids are doing (as much as I can without conflicting with their parents).

Even more importantly however, it will sure as heck make me improve some of my habits.
