There are lots of people within a few kilometres or miles of your business that you suspect need what you’ve got but the trouble is they don’t know about you and what you can do for them.

So what do you need to do?

Simple, tell them what you can do for them in a way that attracts their attention, excites their interest, creates desire and makes them take action.

And the best way of telling them is through their letterbox… either by you dropping information of compelling interest in it or by having the postman do it (depending on what your postal laws allow).

Let’s assume you are allowed to letter box drop.

Every morning you’re going to get up a little bit earlier than you used to and go for a walk past around 100 or so houses… different houses every day… and, as you walk past, you’re going to drop something in their letterboxes.

So what’s that something?

It’s a letter and it’s a pink, green, silver or gold envelope. Why an envelope and why a coloured one at that?

Because it crashes through the junk mail barrier that’s why… you see most letterbox stuff looks the same, is the same and gets thrown out.

The envelope makes people curious and curiosity is compelling… so they open the envelope.

And that’s the toughest task… getting them involved enough to want to see what you’ve got to say… when they take whatever is in the envelope out of the envelope.

Putting it simply they’re going to read it! You’ve got their attention.

And their attention is focused on… a letter, a letter from you that excites their interest, stimulates desire and has a chance of making them take action.

It’s called the “Hi neighbour letter.” It’s personal from you to them and it helps them understand what you can do for them in a way that motivates them to call you if they need what you’ve got.

What’s in that letter will be revealed in the next part of this article. Watch for it!
