Being around football grand final time reminded me to drag out what I fondly believed was a uniquely Australian Anthem – “Football, Meat Pies, Kangaroos and Holden Cars”.
My belief of it being proudly written by Aussies was shattered when long time advertising man and mate of mine, Malcolm Cameron, told me it was a direct pinch from the original American Chevrolet commercial
