When you see a marketing opportunity you should grab it and strike whilst the iron is hot.
No better proof of it is this advertisement which was on Facebook a couple of days after the Australian elections so it surely must have been created by the Ikea advertising agency as soon as the polls closed (unless it is not real and has been cleverly photo shopped).
Either way, congratulations to the clever people who dreamt it up.
For the unknowing, Clive Palmer is an Aussie mining billionaire who is reputed to have spent $100 million on advertising for his United Australia Party which didn’t win a seat (yet)!
