Mainly because they are the British Airways Safety Video and its sequel (shot as a result of the reception to the first) made using celebrities and a touch of comedic relief (a great idea coz airline safety videos are normally pretty boring compulsory viewing). I think Air New Zealand were the first to liven these safety videos up and we showed them some time ago.
