So, there we were, somewhere or other, busting for something to eat and drink!

We staggered into an establishment that appeared to be a cafe, asked for a menu, and received the greyish paper with the black print attached.

Talk about difficult to read (and it appears quite easy here, mainly because
the amazing technology in my iPhone camera compensated for the poor photographic quality).

In fact, it proved so damn difficult to read that we gave up and cross examined a very unhelpful staff member on what was available to eat and drink.

We managed to get a stale snack and something like a coffee and made tracks as soon as possible.

A shame because we were looking to dine and wine quite expansively… a real loss for the cafe owner.

All because their menu was too difficult to read.

The lesson for us? Make everything you say or write crystal clear!
