Had this photocopied flyer dropped in my letter box the other day and I must say that Peter was right on for hitting his target market! We have a massive, sawn off at ground level, stump right next to our letter box!

However, the flyer is exactly as you can see… printed using a home printer on A4 paper with that huge block of black background using a heck of a lot of ink! A heck of a lot!

And printers aren’t expensive, nor is paper; you can buy both of them comparatively cheaply.

It’s the ink that costs the money and makes heaps for the suppliers.

So the lessons are don’t create designs that use acres of ink and it’s probably more economical to use an instant print place if you need more than a handful of copies printed.
