I seem to be one of very few people who do it (and my wife does it too, uncomplainingly!).

And what’s that?

When I go to the movies or watch uninterrupted movies on cable or where TV stations allow it, I quite simply sit through all the credits… right through to the very, very end.

Why?

Well, the actors always get their names up in lights and, generally, deserve it. But it’s the people (and there’s a huge number of them) who get the credit at the end who are the ones that make the actors, and indeed the whole film, look good. Yet, most people who see the movie can’t wait to rush out and avoid their chance to honour all who contribute to the film.

Now, the people in the credits don’t know that I wait to see their names but I do hope they kinda get to think that there are some people who give gredit where credit is due!
