I don’t normally give advice about movies to watch, because I’m not one that enjoys science fiction, or shooting, bang, bang type movies.

At the risk of being called a softy, there are a couple of movies I think you should watch, both on Netflix.

The first is “Champions” about a baseball coach who is sentenced to do 90 days community service coaching a group of intellectually challenged young men. Really got to me and gave me real appreciation and understanding of how we can assist such people.

The other is “12 Orphans” and involves a football coach and his wife who give of their time and talents to assist a group of young people who are brought up in an orphanage during the dustbowl times of the late 1920’s in the States. Reminded me of what I could be doing to help others less fortunate.

Both movies touched my heart, made me think and, hopefully, do more to help others.
